Tan Cang Mien Trung terminal receives first container ship

The Tan Cang Mien Trung terminal made its debut on Feb. 8, receiving the first container ship Visico Pioneer departing from the Sai Gon Port.

The operation of the new port is expected to increase the sea transport capacity, contributing to the province’s economic development.

The Tan Can Mien Trung terminal was built in May, 2010, focusing on sea services, container loading and unloading, ect.

The terminal which has the total area of 110,000 s.q meter is designed to receive ships of 10000 DWT.
