The provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on Feb. 15 convened in Quy Nhon to discuss the Political Bureau’s instructions regarding the elections to the 13th NA and the people’s council at all levels for the 2011-16 term, which is scheduled to take place on May 22.

After provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Thien had delivered the opening speech, provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc presented the instructions The elections of deputies to the 13th National Assembly and representatives to the people’s council at all levels.
Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Board Tran Kim Hung announced the decisions on establishing the Central Election Council, provincial steering board for the election and provincial election committee.
Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Board Nguyen Dinh Thanh presented the procedures for selecting and introducing candidates and holding talks between the candidates and voters.
Director of provincial Department of Internal Affairs Le Van Minh presented the plan and schedule for the elections of deputies to the National Assembly and representatives to the people’s council at all levels.
The participants showed great determination to organize the elections successfully in a democratic, equal, law-abiding, trustworthy and economical manner.
