More than 300 Youth union members and students voluntarily donated their blood at the blood donation campaign launched by Phu Cat district’s Red Cross on Feb. 16.

The blood volunteers were present at the district’s health center at 7 am to join the campaign.

“Most patients at the center are our relatives and neighbors; hence, we should donate our blood to help them when they are in need,” said Dang Vu Truong Huy, a blood volunteer.

The district’s Red Cross annually coordinates with Phu Cat health center to launch four blood donation campaigns.

“The Red Cross’s members, Women Union’s members, elderly people, and students all join blood donation campaign,” said doctor Pham Van Du. “More and 100 blood units are collected after a campaign.”
