Workshop on solid waste management planning

The provincial management unit for sanitation and water supply project held a workshop in Quy Nhon on Feb. 22, focusing on the solid waste management planning in four districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu My, An Nhon, and Tay Son.

The project is co-funded by Vietnam and Belgian Governments.

The project consultative groups presented the results of their studies and proposed a report on the solid waste management planning in districts until 2025.

The participants talked about the results and gave their comments the planning. Also, the experts reported socio-economic factors affecting the urban solid waste management, community-based solid waste management, and other issues.
