Binh Dinh People’s Committee’s Chairman on Feb. 24 approved the planning of De Gi urban, industrial and services complex until 2020 and vision to 2030.

Accordingly, the southern part of De Gi lagoon, including communes of Cat Thanh, Cat Khanh, a part of Cat Minh communes, and a part of My Thanh commune, will become one of sea economic hubs in the province.

Also, a De Gi fishing port will be built, becoming a big one in the south of Binh Dinh and encouraging fishermen to gather here.

A complex for fishing services is expected to be planned, such as aquaculture processing service, fishery logistics, shipbuilding services, and storm shelter.

Some urban and residential areas will also be built, let alone an infrastructure for the sustainable development
