CPI sharply increases in Feb

The province’s consumer price index (CPI) experienced a sharp increase of 2.99 percent in February compared with the previous month, according to the statistics released by Binh Dinh Statistics Department.

Ten out of 11 commodity groups recorded increases, of which food and restaurant services saw the sharpest hike with 5.95 percent. The commodity with increases below one percent was education services with 0.04 percent.

The post and telecommunication services prices continued to drop.
