Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Le Huu Loc visited Binh Dinh Women’s Union on March 7 on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The union’s Chairwoman Pham Thi Thanh Hong briefed him on some of the union’s achievements in 2010. Accordingly, the union built 19 houses for poor women and assisted thousands of women in taking out loans. In 2011, it will focus on preparing for the women’s congress and improve the effectiveness of its activities.
Provincial Chairman Loc praised the union’s achievements and extended greetings to all of its members, expressing the hope that the provincial women’s union will continue fulfilling its tasks in this year.
