Joint venture formed to build thermoelectric plant

Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rayong Purifier Public Company Limited and STFE Co., Ltd, Viravat Cholvanich.

At the meeting, the Thailand investor presented the pre-feasibility study on the 700 MW-thermoelectric plant which will be built at the non-tariff zone of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

Accordingly, advanced technologies will be applied for the plant, aiming to ensure the low amount of gas disposal. In addition, an unbaked brick plant will also be built for the utilization of coal residues.

The representatives of STFE Co., Ltd and Khang Thong Construction – Trading – Service Joint Stock Company signed an agreement to form a joint venture to build the thermoelectric plant and oil refinery.
