Quy Nhon to host music festival in late Mar.

The national music festival is scheduled to take place in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh Province from March 26-27, the organizing board of the music festival announced at the press conference held on March 16.

Many composers, singers, and musicians’ associations in 30 provinces and cities nationwide registered to join the event, according to musician Tran Long An, head of the organizing board.

The festival is expected to include other activities, such as workshop on composing and performing, program to popularize new songs, and the performance of HCM City Music Conservatory's symphony orchestra.

Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh affirmed that the provincial leaders will fully support the event and asked all relevant bodies to urgently prepare for the festival.
