A working meeting between Management Board of Binh Dinh province – based Sustainable Rural Livelihood Program and Ms. Margaret Lowe, First Secretary of the New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam took place on March 31.

The program was implementing on the right track as the provincial authorities had directed its agricultural sector and its relevant localities, reported the project management board at the meeting. Components of the project have given fruitful results so far.

The project management board suggested that the sponsor should invest in a preliminary treatment facility for bio-safe vegetable; strengthen the project’s performers; hire one more official who would be in charge of managing the project office; adjust limits on expenditure and expenditure for final accounts.

Ms. Margaret Lowe agreed with the suggestions proposed by the management and believed that the project would be successful as expected thanks to the strong direction of the provincial authorities, strong determination of the relevant authorities and local governments.
