Under the WB-funded Global Partnership on Output-Based Aid (GPOBA), a total of US$33,409 was disbursed for 697 poor students studying at 16 high schools in Binh Dinh, according to the province’s study promotion association.

Accordingly, poor students who got average academic results or higher in the first semester of 2010-2011 school year will receive US$45 each.

Those who didn’t meet the criteria won’t be offered the financial support and they must try to improve their scores if they want to be aided.
