Vocational training cooperation for disadvantaged young people

Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh on Apr. 20 held a meeting with head of the representative office the Italian Association Amici di Raoul Follereau (AIFO) in Ha Noi, Pierdomenico Lorenzo and the CIFA office’s expert, Luigi.

They talked about the vocational training cooperation program, aiming to help disadvantaged young people in Binh Dinh.

The program which is worth nearly 1.2 million EURO, including 400,000 EURO from the province’s budget is expected to be carried out within three years.

It aims to train 12 teachers and technical staff of Quy Nhon Vocational Training College, offer the vocational training to 540 disadvantaged people at the age of 15-25, and 180 women, and improve skills for 33 teachers and 22 technicians working at vocational training centres.

Speaking at the meeting, Binh said the program is really helpful and she expressed the hope that it will be soon implemented.
