VND76.2 billion in disbursed in 1st quarter

An estimated 76.2 million VND in ODA was disbursed in the first quarter of 2011 while the target was 186.6 billion, according to the province’s ODA project management board.

Some projects saw quick disbursement, such as JICA VI, irrigation work in Phu My district, sustainable forest recovery and management, and Rural Electrification II.

However, the slow disbursement is still seen in many projects due to different reasons.

At present, 21 ODA projects have been implemented in Binh Dinh. Among them, two projects have been finished, including Canh Tien tower upgrade project and water supply in Binh Dinh town project.
