Phu Cat district’s leaders and the investors of Hoa Hoi industrial zone (IZ) held a meeting with provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung on April 25.

They talked about the construction progress of Hoa Hoi IZ which was licensed in 2009. The IZ which is worth VND440 billion covers an area of 265 hectares in Cat Hanh commune.

As planned, the technical infrastructure is expected to be built on an area of 121 hectares in the first phase (2009-2011). However, only an area of 35 hectares has been leveled so far while other items haven’t been built.

The IZ was offered the most favourable conditions, Dung said. The investors are, hence, required to finish the infrastructure construction on the leveled area in May and implement the third phase-compensation.

Only when finishing their tasks as required could the investors continue the project; otherwise, the license will be revoked, he concluded.
