VND4.17 billion to build resettlement areas for landslide-prone residents

More than VND4.17 billion will be invested in building necessary facilities in resettlement areas in 2011, offering shelter to 417 households living in areas prone to natural disaster and landslides in districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu My, Phu Cat, Tuy Phuoc, Hoai An, Hoai Nhon, and Quy Nhon city.

In addition, 12 resettlement areas are expected to be newly built from 2011-2015, helping over 1,000 households in landslide-prone areas settle their lives.
