27-year-old Vietnamese man gets PhD in U.S

The 27-year-old Lam Duy Viet, born in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh Province, successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Structure of Rod - like Polyelectrolyte - Surfactant Aggregate in Solution and in Adsorbed Layers” at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania State, the U.S, on May 18.

His work was highly appreciated as it is an applied study which could be used in oil and gas sector, pharmaceutical industry, and solar energy.
