EGAT int’l Co., Ltd seeks investment opportunity in Binh Dinh

The delegation of EGAT International Co., Ltd of Thailand, a subsidiary of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) came to seek investment opportunities in building a thermoelectric plant in Binh Dinh on May 19.

Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc received Senior Executive Vice-President of the company, Prutichai Chonglertvanichkul, head of the delegation.

Loc highly valued the investor’s goodwill and vowed to create all favourable conditions for their project. He also briefed them on some locations planned for thermoelectricity development as well as the province’s demand for power.

The thermoelectric plan is expected to have a designed capacity of 1,200 MW. The investor also promised to use environmentally friendly technologies for the project.

The investor then went to study the locations planned for the power development in Binh Dinh. Two sides are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding later.
