21,000 laborers to be offered vocational training this year

A total of VND40.66 billion is expected to use to offer vocational training courses to 21,000 people in 2011, according to a plan announced at meeting on vocational training held on May 19 in Binh Dinh.

Among the sum, the Central budget will finance VND37.66 billion and the province will contribute the rest.

The money will be used to open course for laborers, support businesses, organize meetings, and buy facilities.

27,238 people attended vocational training courses last year, accounting for 107 percent of the plan according to the report. A total of nearly VND74.7 billion was poured into vocational training in 2010.
