Work on disaster shelter put in use

The Nhon Binh 2 primary school funded by the Central Vietnam Calamities Relief Fund has been put into operation today (May 20).

Functioning as a school for students, the two-storey building is also expected to serve as storm and flood shelters for local people when necessary.

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) funded VND1.8 billion which was pumped through the Central Vietnam Calamities Relief Fund and Quy Nhon Municipal People’s Committee contributed the rest to build the school.

This is the 25th works funded by the Central Vietnam Calamities Relief Fund
