CPI rises slower in May

Compared to the previous month, Binh Dinh’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 1.73 percent in May. Most commodity groups see increase.

The CPI in the first five month of this year rose by 12.44 percent compared to December, 2010.

According to experts, May’s CPI is lower than previous months, proving the efficiency of the local authorities and Government’s measures to curb inflation.
