The province’s industrial production in the past 2 months has thrived more aggressively than the first quarter of 2011, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

The first quarter’s industrial production value increased 11.7 percent while, in May, it saw a rise of 14.4 percent in comparison to the same period of last year.

The total value in the first 5 months of this year reached 3,016.5 billion VND, 12.9 percent higher than the same period of 2010.

The industrial production shows signs of positive recovery. To maintain the good growth, enterprises should be more active in their business operation, in market access, trading promotion and re-structure of production, said the department.

In the mean time, relevant authorities should promptly solve problems which hinder the enterprises’ operation.
