Preferential policies required for Nhon Chau, official says

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung on June 2 paid a working visit to Nhon Chau commune.

According to the report, the commune’s socio-economic situation as well as security and defense issues showed improvements in the first five months of 2011. Its fishermen, thus, feel secure to go fishing.

However, Nhon Chau is still facing some difficulties required the support from local authorities. Some urgent problems include power, traffic, and health services for local people.

The fishing-related issues are also problematic.

Tung highly appreciated the commune’s achievements and emphasized that all functional bodies should offer a preferential policies to Nhon Chau, helping its economy develop. He also asked the local authorities and armed forces to foster the security and public order.

Deputy Party Chief also visited a medical clinic and some armed forces units in the commune and presented 110 gifts to social beneficiaries and poor households.
