Among 4,675 deputies elected in the elections to the 1 th National Assembly and the People’s Committee at all levels in the 2011-2016 term, the number of high-qualified deputies is higher than the 2004-2011 tenure.
90 percent of provincial People’s Council deputies have Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, a rise of 13 percent against the previous term while 83.33 percent finished courses on high-level political theory. As for the district level, the figures are 69,31 percent and 38.36 percent respectively.
At the commune level, the number of high-qualified deputies also dramatically increases by 12.63 percent compared to the previous tenure.
