2 Binh Dinh swimmers join Southeast Asian swim champs

The 35th Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships 2011 has taken place in the central city of Da Nang from June 10-13 with participation of 280 swimmers from Laos, Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Viet Nam.

2 swimmers from Binh Dinh, including Nguyen Dinh Nhat Nam and Vo Thi Ly, are among 51 Vietnamese athletes joining the event.

Nam will compete in the men’s 50, 100, 200 metre butterfly and Ly will race in the women’s 50, 100, 200 metre backstroke.

Coach of Binh Dinh team Tran Kiem Thu will participate in the tournament as a referee.
