Binh Dinh wins three gold medals at Asian Youth Chess Champs

On June 15, Binh Dinh’s chess player Nguyen Thi Thuy Trien won a gold medal in women's individual Blitz chess at the 12th Southeast Asian Young Chess Championships in 2011, let alone silver medals for other players in women’s Blitz team event.

Thuy Trien continuously won another gold medal in women’s Standard individual event for under 16 years old on June 18. The third gold medal in the women's Standard team event also went to Binh Dinh.

On June 19, Viet Nam team is temporarily leading the tournament with 17 gold, 16 silver and 17 bronze medals.
