Binh Dinh’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.5 percent in June, slower than the 1.73 percent pace of May. This proves the efficiency of the local authorities and Government’s measures to curb inflation.

Among consumption categories, only telecom services maintained their prices and US dollar prices fell 0.2 percent in comparison with last month. The remaining categories including food, housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials, medicine and health care services saw month-on-month increases of less than 1 percent.
