Pilot agriculture insurance program to be launched

The pilot agriculture insurance program will be launched in Binh Dinh since July 1, according to director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Phan Trong Ho.

Accordingly, three local districts will join the program in the field of breeding sector. In each district, three communes will be selected to participate in the program.

Farmer households, fishermen, cooperatives, and agro-businesses will benefit from the program. If there are any disasters or epidemics, they will be fully compensated by insurance companies.
