A statue made of laterite with clay was found in Cat Trinh commune, Phu Cat district. It is now stored in Ho The Phat’s house, a local resident in Ngo May town.
His nephew unearthed the 80cm-high statue when he was digging a pond at the Bau Dam area which is believed to be home of many relics belonging to the ancient Cham culture.
The statue is in the shape of a human-being.
