23,169 household loaned to build clean water system

Under the rural clean water and environmental sanitation program, Binh Dinh now sees 23.169 households taking out loans to build the clean water and sanitation works, according to director of Binh Dinh Bank for Social Policies, Nguyen Dinh Son.

A total of VND8.715 billion was lent to 1,791 households in the first six months of 2011. Among them, each took out a loan of VND8 million.

The program has contributed to provide clean water and protect the environment in the rural areas in Binh Dinh.
