Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee asked the local authorities to reserve rice seeds in case disaster happens.
Accordingly, areas prone to natural disaster and landslides, such as districts of Tuy Phuoc, An Nhon, Phu Cat and Hoai Nhon, were asked to reserve 100 tons of rice seeds while Phu Cat and Tay Son need to reserve 50 tons.
Local authorities also give financial support to famers for buying hybrid rice seeds.
