Many studies on aquaculture have been effectively put into practice since 2006, says Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

They includes study on pilot commercial breeding and cultivation of sea crabs from man-bred crabs; research on commercial breeding and cultivation of marble goby fish; research on pilot bringing up of salangan in indoor artificial conditions for nest harvest; research on proposed solutions for management, exploitation, protection and development of aquaculture species at Tra O Lagoon; research on solutions for protection and development of lobsters…

The above studies have partly helped to diversify breeding supplies of high value aquaculture species, to increase incomes of local farmers and to expand areas for aquaculture farming in Binh Dinh.
