Provincial leader receives Int’l SOS Children Village’s official

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Mai Thanh Thang on Jul.14 received the Deputy Secretary General of International SOS Children’s Village Siddhartha Kaul.

Thang briefed him of the operation of Quy Nhon SOS Children’s Village, expressing the concern for the child care programs funded by International SOS Children’s Village.

He also vowed to create all favourable conditions to promote the construction of the road leading to the village and the province’s financial support for the village.

S.Kaul expressed his happiness when seeing the provincial authorities’ concern for the project and child care. He hoped that two sides will strengthen the cooperation to help underprivileged children in Binh Dinh.

The Quy Nhon SOS Children Village project has been put into operation for several months. The village covers an area of 2.8 hectares in Nhon Phu ward. Most of its items have been finished so far.
