110 KV Nhon Hoi transformer station to be built

The Central Power Corporation is making procedures to apply for investment on building 110KV Nhon Hoi transformer station and its branch lines.  Total estimated cost is 200 billion VND, covered by World Bank.

The transformer station will locate at Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ). A branch line connecting 220KV Quy Nhon transformer station at Phu Tai Industrial Zone (IZ) and the 110KV Nhon Hoi transformer station will be 25.5km in length, in which more than 23km will be new and the rest 2.5km will be upgraded.

Binh Dinh Management Board of EZs and People’s Committee offices of relevant localities are collaborating with the investor to carry out compensation and land clearance for the project, ensuring the operation of the 110KV transformer station by early 2013.
