Under the Central fund for coastal communes, the Phuoc Thang commune People’s Committee invested more than VND2.4 bln to build 2 concrete bridges and 2km-concrete road from 2008-2010.
Some routes provided practical effects for the locals’ travelling. They are now able to travel thoroughly all year round.
Beside state-supported fund, the Phuoc Thang Commune also mobilized billions of VND from provincial and local authorities as well as local residents to concrete a length of 2km of rural road and nearly 500m irrigation canal, and reinforce 1000m-dyke.
