10 precious royal decrees offered to Binh Dinh Vestiges Management Board

Mr. Tran Duc Nghi - a 13th descendant of mandarin Tran Duc Hoa, who governed Quy Nhon prefect in the late 16th and the early 17th centuries – has just offered Binh Dinh Province Vestiges Management Board 10 precious royal decrees (restored versions by Ho Chi Minh City Museum).

The 4 oldest decrees were issued in 1564 under the reign of King Le Anh Tong. One decree dated in 1584 under the reign of King Le Thanh Tong. One decree dated in 1593 under the reign of King Le Thai Tong. One imperial instruction issued in 1686 under the reign of King Le Hi Tong. Two decrees dated in 1689 under the reign of King Le Hi Tong. One instruction issued in 1715 under the reign of King Le Du Tong.

The precious documents directly related to Binh Dinh have been conserved by the Tran family at Hoai Nhon district.
