Malaria under control

A meeting was hosted by Quy Nhon Institute of Malariology, Parasitology, and Entomology on Jul. 27, focusing the prevention of malaria, entomological and parasitic diseases in central and Central Highland regions in the first 6 months of 2011.

According to the report, the number of patients infected with malaria reduced by 30 percent and the figure in  parasitic disease went down by 22 percent.

The participants set the target of reducing the rate of death and infected cases caused by malaria and developing the sustainable factors in the malaria prevention.
