In school year 2010-2011, Binh Dinh has 40,417 school leavers with vocational qualifications, accounting for 94.37 percent in which 41 percent with excellent certificates and 46 percent with good certificates, announce Binh Dinh Department of Education and Training.
This year, 42,827 school leavers take exams on 12 subjects of sewing, embroidery, knitting, welding, gardening, cooking, carpentry, veterinary, household electricity, motorcycle repairing, electronics and IT. The 24 councils of exam organizers are set at 10 centres of vocational training in Quy Nhon city and other 9 districts (exclude An Lao district) and in 14 schools all over the province.
The school leavers with vocational training certificates will have additional marks to their graduate results from secondary and high schools. Specifically, any secondary graduate with excellent vocational training certificate will have 1.5 mark more, with good certificate will have 1 added mark, with fairly good certificate: 0.5 mark. Similarly, the high school graduates will have 2 marks, 1.5 marks and 1 mark for their respectively excellent, good and fairly good certificates.
