16:50', 3/8/ 2011 (GMT+7)

The 36th National Theoretical Physics Conference is being held in the central city of Quy Nhon from August 1-4 by the Theoretical Physics Centre and the Physics Institute.

The annual event presents and reviews research by individuals and groups on the trends in theoretical physics and related fields in both Vietnam and abroad.

Despite certain accomplishments, physics, particularly theoretical physics, still faces many unresolved questions related to high energy, neutrinos, and unifying quantum mechanics and the general theory of relativity.
