An Khe plant’s second turbine starts operation

Turbine unit No.2 of An Khe Hydro-electric plant was successfully connected to the national power grid on July 31, after 6 years of construction.

It is expected to add 2 million kWh per day to the national power grid.

Previously, the the plant's first turbine also successfully operated and has generated nearly 100 million kWh since June 11.

The An Khe plant is apart of the An Khe- Ka Nac hydroelectric power plant which is designed with total capacity of 173 MW.

The project with total investment capital VND5,600 bln started construction on November 2005 and has completed one month ahead of schedule.
