1 bln VND more funded for water supply improvement in An Lao

Binh Dinh People’s Committee has just decided to allocate supplementary fund of the National Target Programme for Rural Clean Water Supply and Sanitation in 2011 to poor districts all over the province, as directed in  Resolution 30a by the central government. An Lao district is allocated 1 billion VND to upgrade, improve its water supply system.

An Lao itself has invested hundreds of millions of VND to build a system of water treatment and supply at Song Vo hydroelectric plant, supply clean water for 450 households and more than 50 organizations, schools at communes of An Tan and An Hoa, at town of An Lao. Yet, many residential communities at An Lao district haven’t accessed the clean water service, particularly in dry season.
