Focusing on combating bird flu epidemic
16:49', 9/8/ 2011 (GMT+7)

The bird flu epidemic has broken out in two provinces of Phu Tho and Nghe An, according to Binh Dinh Veterinary Agency. It may spread through other provinces.

Binh Dinh now sees over 6 million poultry and water-birds; however, many breeders haven’t followed safe methods in raising.

To effectively prevent the bird flu epidemic, veterinary forces sprayed disinfectants to sanitize some high-risk areas. The local authorities also set up inspection panels to monitor the poultry trading.
