Phuoc Hoa Commune receives motorboat

A motorboat was given to Phuoc Hoa commune (Tuy Phuoc district) under the project of disaster risk reduction funded by Norwegian Red Cross on August 17.

The motorboat which is worth of VND30 million with an engine of 6 HP, 12 metre long, 1.6 metre wide will be used in carrying out search-and-rescue.

Under the project, over VND342 million will be invested in building Go Mieu bridge in Kim Dong hamlet, organizing training courses on natural calamity preventing, clean water, and environmental sanitation.
