The project coordination unit of the Vietnam Avian and Human Influenza Control and Preparedness (VAHIP) held a meeting in Quy Nhon city on August 26, reviewing the communication program at primary schools.
After 4 years of implementing the project in 11 provinces, the communication programs were carried out at 185 primary schools in 159 communes, helping people raise awareness of control of avian flu in agriculture sector, influenza prevention and pandemic preparedness in health sector.
VAHIP project sponsored by World Bank has been carried out from 2007 to December 2010 with the capital of US$38 million.
