At the threshold of the new school year 2011-2012, schools in Quy Nhon city expect to welcome 48,365 pupils, in which nursery schools receive 12,330 pupils, primary schools: 21,120 pupils and secondary schools: more than 14,910 pupils.
To ensure good conditions for studying of the pupils and teaching of teachers, Quy Nhon educational authorities decided to spend more than 24 billion VND building 43 new classes and 4 specialized labs, repairing 14 downgraded classes, toilets, fences and gates. The schools are also equipped with text books and teaching tools.
Quy Nhon Office of Education and Training is collaborating with the municipal Office of Internal Affairs in recruiting more 70 teachers.
Quy Nhon city is promptly preparing to organize opening ceremonies of the new school year on September 5.
