The Tuoi Tre Newspaper coordinated with Binh Dinh Youth Union, Department of Education and Training, and Association for Studying Promotion to present scholarships to 50 poor students in Binh Dinh on August 29.

The Khang Thong Group-funded scholarships worth VND5 million each were given to the local students who passed the July’s university entrance exam.

Attending the scholarship granting ceremony, provincial Vice Chairman Mai Thanh Thang said, the scholarships greatly contributed to encourage outstanding but poor students. He also expressed the hope that the program will fund more disadvantaged students nationwide.
