Binh Dinh’s garment industry in robust growth

Binh Dinh’s garment industry has enjoyed robust growth during the last 3 years, offering more jobs and higher incomes for rural labour forces, reports Binh Dinh Department of Industry and Commerce. The province has now 12 garment enterprises with total capacity of 19 million of products/year; offering 8,000 jobs, 3,000 higher than the beginning of 2010.

The enterprises have expanded their production capacities and shown impressive growth rates with stable operation. In the first 8 months of 2011, they reached export turnover of 4.78 million USD, 27% higher than the same period of last year.
