Binh Dinh Blind Association offers free Braille teaching for members

Binh Dinh Blind Association is implementing a 3-month programme of broom-making vocational training for its members from August to October 2011.

During the training period, the members are also taught Braille system free of charge. After the broom making practice in mornings, 14 blind people learn the Braille system in afternoon with Ms. Mai Thi Bich Thu, a member of the association’s Standing Committee.

The learners are very eager to learn the Braille system. They want to become literate people and access more information sources, says Thu.
