The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has decided to provide 3,000 Movimar satellites for offshore fishing ships in 28 coastal provinces and cities.

Accordingly, 280 fishing vessels in  Quy Nhon city and districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu My, and Phu Cat will be installed with sets of communication devices.

The receivers, provided under a French-funded project, will help fishing ships update weather forecasts and contact other ships and offices on the mainland./.
