17 farms have total turnover of over 30 bln VND

Binh Dinh now has 17 farms which meet new criteria as in Circular No. 27 dated on April 13 2011 by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The farms locate at districts of Hoai An, Phu Cat, Hoai Nhon, Phu My and Quy Nhon city.

All of the 17 farms are at large scale. Each use 12.1 hectares of land on average for agricultural, forestry and aquacultural production. The farms’ owners apply advanced technologies in their production, reaping high economic efficiency in the business. Total turnover of the 17 farms in 2011 reaches over 30.621,6 billion VND. Hoai An gets the highest turnover with over 16.748 billion VND. Two districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu Cat come next with respectively 7.266,6 billion VND and 2.388 billion VND. Quy Nhon city ranks fourth with 2.340,9 billion VND and Phu My district is at fifth place with 1.977.2 billion VND.
