Centre for Land Use Development of Quy Nhon City had just finished its task of setting landmark along streets in the project of extending Hoang Van Thu Street, said Mr. Do Van Sang - Director of the Centre, on January 17.

As preliminary statistics, about 720 households would be removed (including 300 households in the roadway, 420 households at western side of the road, from edge of the road up to 24m); total area of cleared land expectedly reaches 11 hectares. It is necessary to have about 2.000 land plots and apartment available for the relocation and resettlement of the affected households.

Hoang Van Thu extended street starts at intersection of Hoang Van Thu – Vo Van Dung streets and connect with Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. It has 800 metres long and 20.5 metres wide (10 metres for roadbed and 5m for each side of pavements). The street helps to lessen inner-city traffic pressure as it will serve for traffic flows in and out Quy Nhon sea port.
